  1.  @UltraCasualPenguin  no. That it is in no way the EU's fault that the Tory political hegemony mistaken and faulted on the Irish border. Brexit when campaigned before the election deliberately excluded Ireland, the border, and its voices out. By 2017, 18 and 19 the Irish border was the biggest catch 22 conundrum for the UK gov't. In Dec 2019 Boris collpsed and signed the withdrawal agreement. He had just broken that internationally signed treaty, and in doing so if he puts any border control on the county borders of NI, he will also be violating an international peace treaty.
