I've never worried about it much. I'm 5'8'' and nothing I can do about it. I just find it shallow if it's that big of an issue for society to focus on it. I don't think it was a factor to the degree it is now in the past. If a guy could beat up another guy or out-compete him, that mattered, not their height. Seems like something a eugenicist would be concerned with.
