  1. You missed the point. He's not necessarily saying that he needed a tax cut since he has strategies to pay little US tax living overseas, he's saying that people in the higher income brackets didn't get a tax cut either. And the second point is that he lives overseas, why should he pay taxes to America? No other country does this (except Eritrea).
