  1. India doesn't allow dual citizenship, so the case is closed there. The Indian passport is not very strong but does not really have global reputation issues as Indians generally enjoy a good reputation overseas. The reason for the passport not being strong is that India is a very large country with a very large population of poor people so countries don't want to take the risk that might arise if large numbers of poorer Indians somehow started travelling overseas.
