@popethescope Good to read this. Here's my side of things. The Labour Govt were put into power by Winston in '17 and Cindy was made PM, that was the start of the problems for our country. Too much ego from her wanting to be first to implement changes(among our western nations) and impose ideologies, leading the way with over the top covid 19 lockdowns in '20 and '21 which led partly to her jumping ship in '23. Her Govt, as we've seen was made up of too many factions and she too weak a leader to be able to control the urgings of that group/caucas and others outside Parliament. That led to the woke liberal nature of the Labour tenure as was seen in other western Govts also. As regards Maori, the institutions associated with them have to stand on their own two feet to be viable, like any other Govt agency or organisation, but unfortunately one or two aren't namely the Maori Health Authority that you mentioned. In the end NZers had no time for the totalitarian regime that was Labour, seeing the rise of lawlessness in our streets, kids not going to school, the hospitals becoming bereft of medical staff and nurses, the implementation/weaponizing of gay/rainbow/and trans ideology in every area of society, a rapidly declining economy and a paid sycophantic mainstream media playing lapdog along the way. So, we changed the Govt in October to what is now a much better commonsense unbiased coalition, these three combined party's will prove to be the resurrection and saving of our nation, they have the credentials, leadership qualities and foresight/wisdom to do so. @popethescope There's no hate at all, I just feel sorry that our country had to suffer unnecessarily at the hands of politicians who seemingly didn't care about its people and was more about control, the divisions they were causing and the sadness and anger that that has brought about. But we'll get over it and move forward as we always have, as one nation.

@popethescope Unfortunately, you run away. This coalition Govt will stride ahead and undo most of what Labour foisted on our country in the last 6 years, they'll roll this out week by week. One day you will understand the significance of this era in NZ politics and our society, it's vitally important what is happening currently and what they will do in future.
