Gustavo Fussieger de Lima Exactly! Being a virgin is emotional and psychological not just having an intact hymen.

narvaro mer Sadly That is one of the biggest flaws of Korean society. Their have ideal standards that are too fake and idealistic which is why plastic surgery is prevalent there. I think that is why living in Korean society is so stressful and competitive so many want to immigrate overseas to live a more relaxed life.

UNLEASHING POTENTIAL - PSYCHOLOGY VIDEOS True and emotionally once your virginity is gone it is gone.

danis wara I agree and I wonder why any woman that is clearly not a virgin anymore do this? They seem to want to lie to their spouse.

Rose Madeleine Yes I heard it is even lower than Japan and Japan’s is already low.

01001011 True but I think it is a combination of both.

Kathlyn Contreras Sadly that was how it was in the olden days. But we are in the modern society now so I wonder why any woman would want to do this? Do they want to deceive their husband?

My late best friend told me how he can tell if a woman is a virgin just by looking at her face. He said that if a woman is still a virgin then she will have 2 bright sparkles in her eyes. However, if a woman has lost her virginity then the sparkles in the eyes are dim and not bright anymore. He was right about me and some others. I wonder if this surgery will get the bright sparkles back? I doubt it.. Getting your hymen reconstructed just gives you a new hymen but that is it. Once your virginity is gone it is gone and you cannot get it back. Having your virginity is a psychological, mental and emotional thing not just a physical thing. Sorry but I found this topic a bit awkward. Is it just a new way to make money?

Horen LastTeacher If she was a rape victim then it was not her fault so why can’t society accept her? Your mindset is too old school based.

Riley Dinkleman I do! I am American so I do not know much about Vietnam and the Vietnamese women. However, the women in my family do not get plastic surgery of any sort. A few of my cousins got breast implants and that was it. I am against it but it is their life and my late mom told me never to do things like that. I do not even wear make up as I embrace my true self and face!

Riley Dinkleman True that SK is not the only society with beauty standards, but it seems more extreme than other countries which is why SK is famous for plastic surgery.

Monokuma Well said and I can tell you that even one of my buddies who is from South Korea is really into looks. You know what the first thing she said when she met me for the first time? “ Wow, you have nice skin”. I was flattered but at the same time, it shows how shallow and how they prioritize physical appearance overall.
3
XxWallzxX I totally agree and what is the point of getting a new hymen? Is it to deceive your husband?
2
jinzicheraz It depends on which society you live in too. My late parents were the same way as they lived in the olden days where you are heavily looked down on if you were not married yet and have lost it. I guess many Asian societies like Korea are still like that. It is no wonder they cannot advance and still live in the olden days.
2
Kathlyn Contreras Very true and especially in traditional Asian societies like Korea, most people still have that mindset. It is no wonder this doctor can make a living reconstructing hymen’s.

Maia I am wondering the same thing. Maybe he did not get too many so had Asian Boss cover this just to advertise and get more clients? Who knows?

spendalyn Exactly and being a virgin is also a mental and psychological issue rather than just physically.

Riley Dinkleman I am a girl so stop calling me dude! Only a few of my cousins got boob jobs and most Vietnamese women do not. Not sure how it is in Vietnam as I have never been there, but from what I know they are no where as shallow as SK is in terms of physical appearance. The only thing I know Vietnamese and other Asians favor is being thin and having light skin. They do not judge you and have beauty standards like SK at all. I have seen photos of my extended family in Vietnam and none of them have had any kind of work done at all. They are all natural! I am proud that I did not become like my few cousins who got boob jobs. My late parents taught me to embrace who I am! I do not even wear make up so whoever sees me in person sees the real me not a face caked with make up.

jess0099 Oh yea that is true but besides those extreme cases, why do the rest of the women do it?

Diksha Agarwal Maybe this is his only way of making a living?

Blaque Snake Oh yes very true and many that have plastic surgery lie about it too and if they are celebrities then they lie to the public too, not just their husband. But once they have kids, their kids end up looking nothing like them. You can change the structure of your face but not your DNA.
