  2. They can go in any order not just by their age. Anyone can once they are 18 and can postpone due to school, work or other reasons up until 30.

  4.  @laurafloyd6554  It was due to work and all. My favorite Taiwanese artist served when he was only 20 so was at the peak of his career, but he just wanted to get it over with.

  5. Forgot to say that most serve after they are done with school or at an appropriate time with their work. My classmate from Taiwan served right after he finished school. Then he got a job and got married and is living life well now. The military is not a death sentence.

  6.  @laurafloyd6554  Exactly and glad your granddaughter is doing well. It is sad when people think the military is a meet all end all. It is because they lack knowledge about it. The military can be a good experience too. My friend from Taiwan was not scared to serve at all as he talked to his friends who served before him and they all told him not to worry. He served is living life well now.

  9.  @EverRoxas  Yes but it is still there. I know it all too well. My Taiwanese artists who have served even had fan club meetings too so it depends. But yes, they need to focus but get vacation time to come visit and do whatever they want.

  10.  @chayazeff1995  The military is hard but you can have good memories too. It is not all bad like most think. My late dad served during wartime and that was hell but even he had some good times.

  11. If Jhope wanted advice or anything, he could have asked any of his other friends that have served before Jin too. That was what my Taiwanese friend did before he served so he was not scared to serve at all.
