  1. +Mad World Conservatives are for the status quo - they want to "conserve" the rules, laws, traditions, and societal norms that made this country grow into the super-power it became. Liberals want to "liberate" the citizenry from those same rules, laws, traditions, and societal norms that made this country. (the ones it was founded on, not specifically what is the "norm" in todays society). Thats pretty much it.
