It's not good to rely only on Styx. He's very biased toward some of his ideas and definitely sways his views towards them. He's somewhat young and lets his "Satanic Scare" and "No War For Oil" observations cloud his sight. That's what he grew up through, so that's all he knows, evidently. I don't dislike him, actually I've liked him and followed him for many years, but I don't take his word as gospel, nor "my only news source".
