  1. AI won't help us very much on this issue. For starters, AI tends to replace low-wage jobs first, which would lead to finding a job being harder, which would translate to less people willing to have a child. We can increase productivity, sure, but who's going to buy those products if most people won't have well paid jobs, or even jobs at all?
