  1. btw, aoc destroyed nothing. the law culture and power under the hypocrisy remain unchanged. there will be no change until a lot of ordinary people want it, badly enough to fight.

  2. greed and arrogance are common in human society. the cure is democracy, which might even change human character over time. but getting democracy is hard, since the rulers of every society stamp it out wherever it appears. aoc talks a good game, and is presumably committed to doing what she can, rather than picking up a gun and proclaiming revolution. but revolution is necessary. no real progress can be made by legitimizing the organs of oppression through participation.
