  1. you don't have right to anything, if you have no power of enforcement. and 'we, the people' are not masters of the nation. get a new constitution, that begins, 'we, the citizens, rule our nation through referendum and initiative.' and there's the weak point. since the people are raised to be passive and cynical watchers of their betters in government, they are not capable of common action. they can strike and demonstrate, but have no legal handle on the operation of society. usa is badly run, if the goal is common prosperity, but the goal is the enrichment of the elite. so the people must arm themselves, and organize to overthrow the government. that is the purpose of the second amendment. too hard? then continue whining. some people make a business of it, the ultimate expression of the usa ideal: politics is for money.
