@cjjaxxon something really hard- change the way you think. decide that the welfare of the people of the nation depends on you. not alone, but acting in concert with other people who want to be citizens, not civilians. organizing a [would-be] citizen action group whose single purpose is the establishment of real democracy in the usa is absurdly simple nowadays. the only obstacle is the character of the people. it is possible that americans are so deluded, even debased, by current custom and myth, that they will ignore your call to action. easy to find out- good luck!

don't blame trump or the republicans for the collapse of the working class. this began when deng xiaoping decided to show usa how 'capitalism' worked. the politicians and ceos that colluded with deng were not necessarily stupider than deng [but very likely] - they just saw no reason to plan ahead, since immediate rewards would come to them ,personally, resulting national disaster would be someone else's problem. that would be you. you see politicians ruining your nation, year after year, and go on voting for them. who is at fault? "fool me once, shame on you, ..."
