it's simple: the usa is not a democracy. the people can not act against their rulers for lack of recall and initiative power. elections are useless, since replacing one crook with another soon loses any charm. besides, the crookery is often out of sight, you have no right to know what they do. the cure is simple: get democracy. but not easy- americans are not citizen quality people. so the usa will continue to rot. almost all of history shows this cycle of growth and decay.

those were the founding fathers intent on preserving slavery, and ensuring the rule of wealth. choosing them for your authority is past quaint, well into psychosis.

@julieannmyers8714 madison despised democracy and did his best to make sure it didn't happen in the usa. madison was rich, and made sure sure his taxes were not spent on the concerns of the lower class. and his constitution delivered the desired results. supporting that constitution joins with madison in maintaining his goals.
