  1. the swamp is the system. the whole purpose of the system is to free big money from public use, or even, surveillance. why do you keep talking about democracy, when ordinary people don't even know what's going on, much less have any control over public activity. madison promised the constitutional convention that his constitution would prevent democracy, and it visibly does. clearly, no one in the usa understands this, due to a total collapse in study of national history. you can understand why politicians don't like to be reminded of these matters, more disturbing is flight from reality among teachers, and pundits, and bloggers.
