  1. there are nutters, and other needies to follow them. more dangerous are the scam artists looking for money through pretence to power. really, if your society is incapable of educating children to reality and adult performance levels, then crazies and thieves can prosper. usa enjoys a high level of technical capability, but socially, still in the middle ages.
