  1. the great lie of usa is that it is a democracy. once you accept that lie, rational analysis is impossible. orwell hated ussr for personal reasons, doubtless well founded. but when it comes to perverting language to control minds, usa is world champion. newspeak r us[a]. and that's the facilitating purpose of 'rugged individualism' - democracy would lead to socialism, [ madison said so,] so you must worship individual responsibility and allow the politicians to administer the nation as they think best. usa was created to preserve slavery, and the rule of wealth. those are the facts, admitted to in documents by the men who attended the constitutional convention. it is not a democracy, madison explained why it was not and how it was prevented. any american who uses 'our democracy' is corrupting the language, usually to suppress the poor, occasionally to wonder why things aren't going well for the nation. things aren't going well because you persist in living a fantasy.

  2. the nation was designed that way. much as i would like to see change, change is unlikely. if possible, leave.

  3. the solution is to establish democracy. might have to shoot a few politicians, but would that be any loss?
