Your argument is only partially true. Red Army learned from mistake. Modern communication arrived to Red Army From America. Red Army got modern tanks in a huge quantities in 1943. Soviet pilots learned in a hard way to fight. German anti airplane units that were excellent fighting force against Soviet tanks were sent to Germany to protect it against American and British airforce. The surprise factor disappear. And if German had number Soviets had they wouldn't be defeated in Stalingrad.

@СергейРублев-т7я your source? To my knowledge Soviets gathered 1.5 million soldiers before the attack. Germans didn't have anything close to this number. What you wrote is extremely irrational.

@СергейРублев-т7я I got my information from the most famous book in the world on Stalingrad: Anthony Beever "Stalingrad " Wikipedia's data is not serious. Every one can write in Wikipedia. Strongly advise you to read this book. Super interesting and easy to read. You can't talk about Stalingrad without reading this book.

Absolutely loved your post. And I witnessed USSR as a child and was ready to die for communism. One of the bid points you missed is a proportion of people who work in industry and agriculture. Industry workers produce few times higher GDP then agricultural worker. In 30s when Industrial revolution begun in USSR there were around 10% of the workers employed in industry and 90% of workers employed in agriculture. Stalin reform brought big numbers of peasants to work in factories. This is a main explanation of economic success in 30s and after a war which is missed by majority of people. After 60s majority of people in USSR were living in the cities and you it was impossible to have huge growth USSR experience in 30s and after a war. In 70s Soviets were saved by finding oil. That were also times when agriculture Russia started to import agricultural products form USA. Villages in USSR were becoming instinct. I absolutely loved points you raised in your post conflicting traditional Western Narrative for USSR. Westerners will hate fact that most Russians absolutely hate Gorbachev. They will also hate the fact that millions of Russians died in 90s when Capitalism came instead of socialism to former USSR. People died because they lost jobs( tens of millions) and drunk vodka. People died I the Mafia wars that took place in 90s. Socialism in USSR had huge advantages and huge disadvantages. That is not black and white. There wasn't terrible life in 80s . People had jobs with livable wages. People got apartments from state. Free medicine with a big lines( memories from childhood) and free universities. As a child I had free sport after school. And it is also obvious that socialism had huge disadvantages compared to capitalism. It is just not black and white picture. There is a good reason why tens of millions of Russians today miss USSR and say "We lived in best country in the world ". Disclaimer: I am Russian/ Israeli/ American who lives in Miami
