Palestine was a house owned by the British in which Jews and Muslims lived. The British offered each to own their own flat in the house. The Jews accepted. The Muslims rejected the offer because they wanted the entire house. In 1947, the UN partitioned Palestine into two states based on population - one Jewish, one Arab. If the Arabs had accepted the partition, there would have been no wars, no refugees and the Palestinians would be celebrating their 75th anniversary as an independent state encompassing the entire West Bank, Gaza and a third of pre-1967 Israel instead of the "nakba". The Arabs rejected the partition and launched a war with the stated goal of destroying Israel and annihilating its entire Jewish population and repeating the same thing in 1967. In international law, it states that if an enemy country attack you. Then you have the right to take the country’s land. And since the Arabs attacked Israel in 1948, then the "Land grab" was totally legal. It is really simple, if you start a genocidal war and then lose....ACCEPT it and move on. Arabs would've massacred israeli population had they won. When you make war and lose, you lose territory.

@Azizoooooo And how did it work for you after 76 years? Nakba, no Palestinian state, wars, death, misery, destruction. Israel, on the other hand, successful democracy one of the advanced countries in the world , the world center for innovation, and the country where armies from people all over the world send soldiers and officers for training and buying weapons. The second largest exporter of weapons in the world after the USA.

@santichatterjee7284 You talking non sence. Go read history. Arabs never accepted partition and on the day independance war declared 5 arab armies invaded Israel

@santichatterjee7284 Which part of what I wrote is incorrect? When you start war and lose, you lose territories. That is what always took part in history. Don't start wars.

@1stormcat Well, there is no genocide, stop confusing genocide for war, what you see in Gaza is the result of losing a war with a country you relied on for all your jobs, food, water, and electricity. In Any war in history civilians were killed. The Gaza war is not different. In other war conflicts proportion of killed civilians was many times higher than in Gaza war. How people can use word “genocide” for Gaza war is not in my understanding
1
@semsemeini7905 As well as that 50 000 Jews in 1948 were displaced as result of war.

@kevinyin2663 Most of the economy was in the hands of Jews in pre 1948 Palestine. Arabs could build their own ports in a new Arab state. Most of the exports and imports were for Jews. Not for Arabs.
