  8.  @kameronjones7139  Nope. You are still thinking that Ukraine is part of USA. The a-10 is old, obsolete and heading to the scrap yard. By selling complete planes USA gets far more money than by scrapping them and at the same time get to play hero by providing the same era of equipment that it is going up against. Ukraine doesn’t care what it gets given, anything is better than nothing. There is pretty much no air to air action in Ukraine. The a-10 was designed to hunt armour on the Eastern European plains for the 70’s. Russia is using 70’s era armour and equipment. The a-10 is capable of using dumb weapons very effectively and that’s cheap and plentiful. Sooooo, It’s a win win.

Once usaf sells those planes to Ukraine it’s got absolutely nothing to do with USA if the crash them get shot down or use their engines to toast marsh mellows. The second thing you don’t understand is the good guys with the best equipment still die in real wars. Expressed best by a werewolf talking to a vampire in underworld. I guess it never occurred to you that you might actually have to bleed to pull off this little coup.
