1:24 As for the Norvegian invasion, even a seemingly small factor (Drach even discussed that earlier) like properly working German torpedoes, would have changed the outcome massively. The German player at the table rolled several 1's on many dice...

@nickboy3024 "What did Carrier pilots do when their carrier was sunk and they were still flying?" Options: - find a suitable enemy target and crash your plane into it (mostly japanese) - find a nearby, friendly runway, either a flattop or a proper airport - find one of the still floating escort vessel of your ex-ship, and try to survive landing on water (or bail out). Sometimes this meant landing near a lifeboat - find ANY ship to ditch your plane nearby - radio in your position until you run out of juice, then ditch the plane and pray that your miniraft will inflate, but will not attracts a shark, but a Catalina (Even "the Luftwaffe" sent out floatplanes, U- and E-boots during the Blitz to pick up pilots from the Channel. Even British crew - as well as every major navy)

Purely audio format: Yes, a lot of interesting questions can be perfectly answered without any graphics, pictures, etc. , cutting down "The List" to manageable level.

@steveb6103 " Last choice was to bail out chutes didn't always work" Some aircraft gained infamy by flipping over upon touching water or just sinking as a rock, both bringing the crew down under with them - but from the top of my head, I could not cite which ones, that's why one was better off jumping out with parachute without even trying emergency "landing" on sea, especially rough sea. As always: If I remember correctly.
