  1. 3:35:40 - Strafing to suppress/disable guns : craft with multiple .50 and up guns , like P-47 Tbolt with 8x0.50, Whirlwind and later Spit models with 4x20mm, not to mention the Beaufighter or the solid nose A-26 (16 or so 0.50 BMG) does not need to be lucky to knock out AA guns (unless turreted ones). Also, Mid-war the aircraft mounted rocket came into play. Then there is the effect of setting "anything on deck" afire, INCLUDING ready ammo.
