  1. when you say coding saves lives... ive been saying that to myself, holding onto some hope ill be able to land my first job, and then have a paycheck. Ive been unemployed for a long time now, and I have no career opportunities. This is my glimmer of hope to a better life. Some days are very dark and uncertain right now.

  9. You asked what type of person I want to be. Well yesterday I got a gym membership for first time in years. I haven’t coded much this week. I’m using codecademy to teach myself. It’s all starting to click , but I am worried still about landing that first job. I’m unemployed and overweight. I’d like to be employed and Inshape. That’s who I’d like to be. Also I’m 1 week out of the hospital from last week. Still a little rattled but I’m recovering, and being able to sleep better now. Coding would be a great career for my health because even though I plan to go to the gym more, I still think the structure and just sitting working on something might help me stay focused in the long run instead of always being on the go. I do need a career and a job. I’ve been unemployed for over two years now and my family has been supporting me. I’d like to get a job and support myself. Btw I’m 33, I’m getting a bit old, but I think I still got a little time left

  12. I’ve been using Codecademy to help me learn. Today I built a whole webpage! Also I’m still feeling a bit rough from my hospital stay this past weekend. Todays been a bit better, but still a struggle at moments. I’m still shook from having to go through that. But being able to make a web page today def gave me some confidence back.

  13. I think I’d like to start freelancing. I have a question about notepad ++. Have u used it? I’m having a hard time getting it to connect to Google chrome. Any suggestions? Is the discord page better to chat on? I’m hoping to get up to speed soon and maybe do free lancing as a way to start my career!

  14. Unfortunately I’ve decided to quit coding ……. I’m not getting it at all, and I’m totally stuck. 😢 I don’t know how to get unstuck and I have no hopes for a job after seeing how everyone is looking for work and not finding it. Idk what I’m going to do. At least I tried 🤷‍♀️😭

  20. This is cheering me up a bunch thank u for ur video . I finished reading my cs textbook for class! 700+pages of html css and Js. I think I’ve got a good foundation. Been at it for 2 months. I do hope I keep getting better. I’ve got to make my own website soon & upload on my GitHub. I’m pretty nervous about doing that!
