20 years ago a bowl of fishball noodles was $3. According to PAP, Singapore's economy has been doing very well in the past 20 years. But why 2023's fishball noodles are worst than those sold 20 years ago? They are more expensive, lower quantity and quality. Worst still, the hawker centres and coffeeshops have been brought back to street food standards. Who took away the money Singapore made in the pass 20 years? Now a plate of hor fun still has two little shrimps and a few slides of tissue-tin fish cake; in the future, a plate of hor fun will only have hor fun? Moving forward, a dish of curry fish head will not have fish head inside? What is the purpose of economic growth? Do you think that 呆 can answer my questions? Ha ha ha!
