Let the Great Asia enlighten you: Divide the population of the country into two halves, let's call the first half the "Landlord", and the next half the "Peasant". The Peasant works for the Landlord to make the latter to become richer. Then the landlord can use the new wealth to acquire more lands. So, what will happen to the children and grandchildren of the Peasant? Is it very hard for you to imagine that more than 50% of future generations will be trapped in HDB 4-rm flats for life? In the past decade, PAP has built so many little HDB flats and condos. There will be a huge angst from Singaporeans who are not able to upgrade to a bigger living space. The population is going to hit 6.9 mil, then 7.9 mil, then 8.9 mil, then 10 mil eventually. If you're a thinker who can think like a Chinese, you will not be focusing on individual's mental health; you should know that the mental health of the entire society will be a big problem. Singaporeans can't breathe! Ha ha ha!
