@oO_ox_O narr, everyone was worried about the Germans at that point.

@Exile1a they could sell to buyers in the likes of China, maybe India. Most of the markets are closed to Russia atm and with the risk of secondary sanctions, who knows?

@thaimayoree1494 Zelensky is leading his people. They don't have to be anything they don't want to be. Putin is just a short, flabby, delusional, paranoid piece of crap that never got over the fall of the Berlin Wall.

How much was the bond worth?

@Insecthouse so the thing is food production, oil refining, ect isn't the low tech thing it was 100 years ago. Those Russian refineries need western tech to work. Modern tractors are ridiculously advanced bits of kit.

@ArawnOfAnnwn the sanctions probably won't get rid of Putin but they will wreak the Russian economy which will limit their military in turn.

It's weird, everyone thought Putin would attack in winter or autumn for that reason, but he went spring, a notoriously difficult time to attack Ukraine (spring rains, lots of mud). Everyone thought Putin was working to some master chess like strategy, turns out he was just licking pieces and chewing on the corner of the board.

@thaimayoree1494 how many more Russian tank are they going to have to blow up before you guys work out that the Ukrainians aren't your play thing you are dictate to? It's not 1970, Ukraine is not yours, go home.

@yulusleonard985 Russia's not powerful enough for a cold war style enemy. It's economy is the size of Spain's... well until the sanctions really start to bite.

@thaimayoree1494 the only person accountable for this invasion is the man who launched it: Vladimir Putin. No one else is attacking Ukraine, it is Putin alone who started this war.
