@menechimkasparow4182 404 is totalitarian dictatorship. Finland didn't have problems with Russia after it stopped its aggression, until very recently. Belarus doesn't hate on Russia (and is not considered 'democracy' by NATO while being democratic). Kazakhstan, either. Etc. You were either misinformed or chose to be as such.

@laQwoter If you'd read the press in 'these countries' you'd understand how ridiculous this sounds. Some 20 years prior, it was also apparent to the knowledgeable people, but at least they made an effort to keep their appearances. Today, they don't do even that anymore, at times trying to enforce almost literal Minitruth from 1984 on their audience. It'd take a lot of effort not to notice at least some of this.

Ну так выбор в таком случае -- форки, где этого трэша не будет, благо обычно это всё в конфигурациях. Разумеется, с вменяемыми мэйнтейнерами. И, разумеется, коммиты должны быть только в эти форки.

@baruchben-david4196 About not-your 'because attacked' narrative, read the thread please. Also, yes, they are only at the start of this journey. But this journey is one-ended with no real alternatives and they already started going down that route, so we might as well start talking of them as such.
