that's unrelated. As the video said, Bitcoin miners use ASIC since a long time now. The two GPU crisis (2017 and 2021) were mainly due to other crypto like ethereum.

But that doesn't fully explain the particular issues with GPUs during these two distinct periods. Miners, scalpers and greedy manufacturers are the main reasons, those you cited only aggravated the trend during the most recent GPU crisis.
