"Only ducks poop where they eat." (с) Russian proverb - why litter where you'll walk tomorrow?

Judging by the question, you don't have much of a chance, to be honest. 😆 Just being an American is not enough for Russia. In Russia the US is not a Golden City on the Hill where demigods live, but just another country somewhere on the other side of the world, like Canada, Japan or Australia. And if you say in Russia, "Look, I'm an American", the girl will most likely reply, "So what?"

The usual temperature in Russia is 86°F in summer and -22°F in winter. You simply can't survive in a tent.

WOW, almost 90k views. In other words, people are not interested in the golden palaces of Peterhof Palace, people are not interested in buildings with a hundred-year history. People are wondering how to get into the subway during rush hour. 😆

It's a direct line from Moscow to the GULAG. Joseph was lucky to get off in time.

I don't know how it is in Toronto, but in Moscow the delay between trains in the subway is 2 minutes. If you don't fit on a train, everyone just waits for the next one.

Pulaski, VA? Wow, such a small, cozy, 50's style town.

A children's assault rifle is a AK-74, not a AK-47. 😆

@expatamerican3234 1612, this is not when Poland captured the capital, but when Russia defeated the Polish army and expelled it from Russia. A statue on Red Square, in front of St. Basil's Cathedral, also honors this event. The statue features two renowned generals who took part in the battle.

Starbucks sold the entire franchise, including the manufacturers, suppliers, logistics, and stores. So other than a slightly different sign, there are no differences - everything is the same as it was.
4
@expatamerican3234 😆 Honestly, there is an interesting topic for investigation - has the menu changed? Starbucks sold the stores on the condition of repurchase, and I wonder if they allowed the new owners to change anything in this case?
4
@PaulV. That's pretty much the way it is. Moscow is a copy of NYC, where everything is about money and business. And St. Petersburg is more like Seattle, where there is more culture and art.
4
@expatamerican3234 He means that Americans think of Russians when they look at Russian emigrants, even though they are not the best people in the world. And many who "fled the bloody regime" mean, "if I return, I will be convicted of theft and bribery".

The same place they've always been. There is a restaurant Taras Bulba's Tavern about 10 minutes from the Arbat.

The last time Europe brought civilization, freedom and democracy to Russia, they killed 26 million people. Since then, there are fewer men than women in Russia, even after 80 years and two generations. Yeah, LOL.
2
@expatamerican3234 Oh no, a family vacation is something that everyone will remember for a lifetime, so I wouldn't call it a waste of money. These are memories that will stay with the kids for the rest of their lives.
2
Girls or men? This is an important distinction. 😂

@jdsmith5060 I got it. You mean - do Russian women date foreigners at all? Of course they do. In Russia, nobody cares about your nationality, race or religion. Except for Scientologists, of course. Scientologists are forbidden in Russia.

All the world's mass media are available in Russia, including far-left CNN, NYT, Politico, Daily Mail, Telegraph UK. And of course Russians read them - cause they are so funny. Stupid, but funny.

@marias5088 Oh, don't worry. No one expected you to be too smart, like all brainwashed zombies.

@goatfokerkadyrov7528 Were you born stupid already or just from Poland? 😆 Sarmat has not even been tested in field yet, as it has a radius of destruction larger than the entire territory of France, and there are simply no such polygons in the world.
