  1. michael lawton: A global hawk is still tiny. It is by no means a bomber in the conventional sense. A “full payload” means nothing. Tiny payloads and large payloads both fit the definition of “full payloads”. The hawk is ungodly slow. Due to those long wings - it greatly increases “hang time” and the ability to fly extremely high - much higher than conventional jets. The hawk is only useful flying high and outside of a nations official airspace. So that it has a good “side view” into Russia or whatever. A hawk would last about 2 minutes infringing into the airspace of China, Iran or Russia.

  2. Dude offensive drones are slow moving easy targets. They only work on prehistoric people with no air force - ISIS and such. A drone attack being successful in Tehran or Washington is fairly low due to radar installations and fighter jets. Also their payloads are minuscule. A couple tiny air to surface missiles. Cruise missiles, ICBM’s and such are totally different animals.
