I suggest these alternate / additional mistakes:
USN: over-reliance on radar and unawareness of, if not active refusal to consider, its limits. Overly strict adherence to formal, close in, formation sailing.
IJN: fascination with incredibly complicated battle plans that relied on each element fulfilling its mission exactly on time, and the enemy doing exactly what was expected of them. Failure to establish a system to train naval aviators and replace losses, let alone increase their numbers.
KM: failure to acknowledge how inefficient their early designs, for entire ships as well as individual components, were, and improve future designs. Ad result, throughout the war their propulsion systems were much less efficient and reliable than expected, single-purpose secondary batteries were basically half as efficient as Allied dual-purpose setups, and awful close-in AA guns and complicated fire control systems left ships highly vulnerable to attack from even a couple dozen aircraft.
