The previous attempts of adding God to government result in Salem Witch trials, trials against evolution, calling people heretics for saying that world goes around the sun. Religion and government should NEVER MIX!! Look at Iran. You want America to be a Christian Iran? Stone gays and Non-believers?

  5. Freedom of religion does not mean Christianity only. It means freedom of any belief you wish. GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT ESTABLISH A RELIGION!! Those words are in the constitution for a reason. America is not a theocracy. Treaty of Tripoli. America is not founded on Christian values.
