There were more votes for democrats than republicans in house races. The only reason why they still control the house is because they did bias gerrymandering. There were house races of democrat incumbent vs new democrat. Some had republican incumbent vs republican.

  5. Bush cut funding to VA hospitals. He didn't do enough for New Orleans after Katrina. Hell he arrived there 5 days after it occurred because he was golfing and doing public events.
