@RJpopper nhi bewakoofi ki bat nhi hai .. why learn a language which is alien to you like hindi?? it would have made much more sense that u focus on tribal z(garo, khasi , jaintya ) languages and english.. but seems like thats not the case

@Vivek.101 i meant i thought they would prefer english over hindi like south india but seems like north east prefers hindi LOL

@RJpopper fine by me, the more languages u know the better but i dont expect northeastern tribals to speak hindi thats all i am saying.. a khasi speaker is as indian as a hindi speaker, not speaking hindi doesnt make u any less Indian thats all i am saying...India doesnt enforce any language on anybody , but if northeasterners r willingly adopting hindi as a lingu franca then fine by me , in fact I am happy seeing how open minded and inclusive they r ..

@RJpopper fine its good that ur a hindi speaker..so does a garo and khasi guy talk to each other in hindi??is hindi the bridge language?
