@tracer0017 Actually numerous Russian troops are surrendering. In fact both sides have had major losses; but if you take the earwax out of your ear , you’ll learn that more than a 1/3 of Russia’s invading force is immobilized, they’ve had to ‘strategically retreat’ from the northeast, and for invading a much smaller country, they’ve taken quite a share of losses , especially in equipment. The image of their strong army is on the brinks and multiple ranking and retired officers have spoken out, and there are multiple examples of desertion. They did not expect Ukrainians to stand up for their country like they are. Again, how long did it take for Russia to completely take Mariupol? How many other major cities have they taken? You tell me.

Ruble has been back to normal due to government intervention, not due to normal economic drive, but if that’s the kind of economy you like, hats off to you. Oil sale has jumped due to increased demand in China and huge pullback from Iran exports, we’ll see how long that lasts. Talk to your average citizen (I have both friends and family there), they won’t paint a bright picture, but ofc that’s not what the Kremlin propaganda machine wants to tell you. You were sayin????

Why are those same civilians (who also fled to the Ukrainian side too btw) asking the Russians to release those same Azov troops from captivity who apparently used those civilians as human shields? @princessfanta8247 Furthermore, this Azov battalion is a far smaller part of the Ukrainian SD forces in eastern ukraine, who have been fighting a civil war for 8 years. shelling has occurred on both side (i love how you don’t acknowledge the civilian targets made by russia; really? odessa? lyviv?) and intensified shelling in FEBRUARY? russian buildup along the border (in belarus as well) began long before in february (concerns broke in october); so to say simply shelling caused the invasion is just blatantly false and i’d love to hear where you get your sources. a chinese official even admitted they knew an invasion was pending in early february, and it’s delay was requested so no to concur with the olympics (not a repeat of 2008).

The ethnicity of different ukrainian groups was important, but not an excuse in the tensions in the east. You’re also confusing your conspiracy theories, because most Russians who believe in the Western influenced neonazi Ukraine theory believe US involvement started before 2008 (obama’s election but not inauguration? really? are you that lazy?) but started during the colour revolutions of the early 2000s, with the backdrop of the invasion of Iraq, which justifiably so put Putin on edge.

All of Eastern Europe suffers from a neo nazi problem, hell Germany has more neo nazis in their parliament and Ukraine has… zero. A SINGLE regiment (not regime* btw) in the Ukrainian army compiled out of a militia where a few neo nazi and hitler fan boys is NOT representative of the country (or even the military for that matter) as a whole. stretching out that argument is weak, and clearly your lack of intellect is showing. you just want to justify mother russia invading another country because your talking heads you watch say so.
