@@marktwain168Mckinney Texas is not a gun free zone at all. Since House Bill 1927, it is permitted to carry in public. But nice try making stuff up boomer.

@moyo5509 bad take, open carry handguns permitted in public places like Mckinney since 2021 without need for permit/training. Where was that in this situation?

@@marktwain168 First of all, this was done at an outdoor mall of theirs. Parking lots and walkways surrounding the stores are still considered public. Their ‘policy’ (not law) allows business owners at their malls to ask those with weapons to leave if they were to enter INSIDE one of their stores, otherwise they would be considered trespassing. However, as the Greenwood Park Mall shooting shows, the armed bystander that shoot at the shooter last year, he wasn’t considered breaking the law when stopping him.

@@marktwain168 So nice attempt at a rebuttal, still shows that lax gun laws won’t help in most cases of mass shootings , and examples like Greenwood are incredibly rare, but what isn’t rare? Mass shootings in the US. Keep coping boomer, you’re not as smart as your parents told you.

@saxonthegermanshepherd2809 Inside the stores are gun free zones but not by law, but company policy by Simon Property Group. Similar thing happened a year ago in Indiana and the civilian who stopped the shooter was excused for having a gun. Again, point is those cases are incredibly rare, but you know what isn’t rare? These mass shootings.

@saxonthegermanshepherd2809 Furthermore, the shooting was done outside the stores (considering it’s an outdoor outlet mall) where those policies don’t exist in parking lots and directly outside of stores.
