  2. Yep even clergy dont know about it...or talk about it. It goes to the administrative top of their organization. Tax payers should know since some of it is our money. Obama decided which religious group got what. Muslim groups are left out I read. Some journalist and media need to tell us all. Thank you Thom.

  3. Catholic church burned at the stake as a "witch" who were herbalists for 100 years. The clergy wanted that power and control over people. YA they kill the born instead. They don't care about life only money and power. Just think what was lost? Today they prevent Stem Cell research. I don't want to be around any person who does sex crimes against young boys. Anyone go to jail? It is a criminal organization. American Catholics should form their own religious group.

  4. Terrible. Are they helping to feed and shelter. Baby sit? Counseling? Churches bring over immigrant workers too. A whole church of them outside Chicago.

  5. Yes that caller is right that churches should have public accountable accounting with audits. Tax payer dollars went for helping the poor with food pantries, counseling, etc. New churches and high clergy salaries pop up every where ($3M retirements, etc.). . TV evangelists make fortunes. Our cable full of them. Separation of church and state is being abused big time. We have no idea if they are using that money for charity...where it goes, etc. Biggest con in history of our religious groups. When I say their church receive exemptions and tax dollars even clergy have no idea. Religious group have taken over our community health hospitals and nursing homes, etc, We get bad care at our many hospitals today. I was refused meds and care because of it so profit can be made. Americans for Separation of Church and State calls herself a CEO. Past leaders of that organization called themselves President. It is a non-profit organization having no CEO. That age group call them CEO when there is one or two of them in a for profit business.

  8. Switzerland threw out Baptists from the country because they wanted their church to rule. They came here. Jefferson gave them freedom of religion. It was a mistake. They've always been that way.

  13. We are a democracy not a theocracy. They want to rule but who will rule in the end? The largest religious group. We will have religious war which is what our founders didn't want for the new democracy. Religious wars were 100 years long in Europe. Many people suffered and died. Yes..religious organizations should be gagged from political action and discussion.  Are they helping the starving and needy right now? A few small churches maybe. Religious group failed in the past because they didn't have the training, space etc. So we set up public charity and government supported organizations. Since Bush this is gone for churches to handle with Faith Based funds. The blind, the disabled, etc. abandoned. It is a failed system.

  15. Presidents and future presidents meeting with the Pope behind closed doors is illegal under separation laws. Also The National Prayer for politicians. We are not a Catholic nation nor do we want to be. Every leader even Bernie Sanders has done this. What Constitution? It is not good our Supreme Court is packed with Catholics (some very extreme).
