  7.  @nozhki-busha  Lol 60.000 troops, last time in Kherson they had 200.000 against 80.000 russians and they lost 5:1, this time around they have 60.000 against 180.000 russians. Wonder if any of them will survive. BTW they are around Bakhmut. Russians are giving intel about that.

  32.  @wekurtz72  Lol yeah, if you would send in your 5000 jets he would be in trouble, but that doesnt mean that Ukraine will win with 20 rocket launchers and 100 tanks you sent him. No, 100 F16 wouldnt help either, if you could win a battle with Russia with 100 F16's you wouldnt have 5000 of them.

  33.  @wekurtz72  Problem is, that they are putting way more into this than the west, and I dont care how much the theoretical worth of equipment the west is sending into Ukraine. It simply comes out that some military doctrines in NATO are dead wrong, 100 dumb munitions with 10-20% error are better than one precision munition, which costs the same. We cant rely on Javelins produced by 400 a year quantities, while Russians are capable to produce 800 tank a year. And even if a Tomahawks precision is 5 meters, it does not compensate the fact, that 60 of those produced yearly, while Russians made 1200 Kalibr in a single year. We have to learn from this. We wont win a war against Russia and China combined with money sinks like the F35. It was ordered to be a cheap easy to maintain state of the art fighterjet, and turned out to be a horribly overpriced craphole, which cant operate 30% of the time. yeah you win wars against the Afghans with these, not the Chinese who sends up 10 plane to intercept it on the same pricetag.

  34.  @thegreatdane3627  That would be correct IF the offensive would happen while they are defending Bakhmut, if they are pushed out, then it doesnt really matter. There is only one tactical reason to keep Bakhmut, its still that if they want to attack there and leave as little place for the Russians to defend as possible while the offensive is onging. Its still risky, Russian combat aviation can zero in any incoming troops there.

  35.  @thegreatdane3627  Thats the tactics they should follow. Turn every single city into a Bakhmut on their way to Kiev. Russia definitely cant keep up with arti consumption if they have to fight it in every 5 kilometers, they will sooner than later stop and negotiate. If Ukraine rides out with 80.000 of their last reserves, and all of their tanks and lose half of that, no matter what they gain, they wont be able to defend it. Americans know that, brits know that they are constantly pushing Zelensky but he is too cocky. They simply cant base their military strategy entirely on western supplies, because they wont receive a new army's worth of equipment again, and will find themselves in a way worse situation than they are in right now.
