@ayoCC Really? I thought Germany had 5 pipelines to Russia even when not a single reactor was in shutdown and 50 coal fired powerplants made electricity. That wasnt a good idea either, but nuclear alone wouldnt solve german energy demands.

Well, military takes money, dont bring in money. So in this economic situation the wise decision is to deinvest from military spending while the growth would let a more generous fiscal policy. The EV sector will cave in, thats just a matter of time, the sole reason why some car manufacturers bother with it, because thatshow the market frauds like Musk got their investment, which is needed for ICE production as well. But the biggest car manufacturer Toyota doesnt even bother to have an EV model, because they know full well, its a dead end. The future lies with hybrids, and Musk or the Chinese will never produce a functional one, thatswhere the 100 years of experience in car manufacturing kicks in.

@TheBlackIdentety Well, the US dont have too much problems to buy energy form decapitating Saudis, who machine gun down their neighbors if that feels right. Russia seems a knight of the holy grail in comparison. But reality is that you buy gas on a pipeline not ideologies.

@cancerino666 Well, I could hardly name a comptetitive product from the EU except their cars. What else? Nokia is long gone, french car manufacturing is struggling. We want to live on gran padano cheese or what?

@toms5996 Yeah sanctions are taking their tolls. Should we abandon them? German economy would skyrocket at that very moment. Or we keep them and keep quiet instead of giving them useless advice. We are in an economic war, and in war you dont ask how much is a bullet.
