Coming from Canada, I was able to understand his English just fine.
1
this reminded me of a book i half-read called 'creative thinkering'
1
bahahaha i thought the same thing. still, great talk though.

Cracracraaaaazzzy

Fucking brilliant, just brilliant
1
Perception, what an enthralling subject matter.
1
Her character is annoying
1
An extremely literal interpretation, but the speculations are still interesting.
1
whether its stories are literal or not depends upon interpretation..
1
A true historical account? How was this event proven to be an actual event of history?
1
That's a deal. We have somebody that we're looking to eliminate.
1
I don't vote anyways. Why would I vote for somebody who only pretends to hold values similar to my own?
1
Actually, we face many of the same problems in the west, except that in the west corruption exists behind closed doors, in closets, and is swept under the rug.
1
Exactly.
1
This video should be called What the West Doesn't Want You to Know... Also, I've heard China has the highest global concentration of billionaires per capita, which is worth noting.
1
I'm actually glad I watched this. This makes me want to go live in China. We pay no attention or give any notice to the blatant incompetence of western governance and therefore to any possibility of necessary reform; It's fucked up.

...is corrupt. Everything else is evil or, in its most literal sense, morally reprehensible. The problem is that too many people swallow the party line, like yourself, too many have drank the Kool-Aid. You said, "Democracy is generally defined as 'the best we've got'." This begs the question: Generally defined as "the best we've got" by WHO? Be an individual. Define "things" for yourself. And, just because you can't imagine any other way, doesn't mean there isn't any other way. I can (cont.)
1
It doesn't matter what form of governance you're subjected to. Whatever form of governance that may be is always regarded or passed off as the "best." Every single government spoon-feeds propaganda to its subjects, or the governed. I believe governance itself is corrupt or, in its most literal sense, morally degenerate and perverted or characterized by improper conduct. The only type of organization that's morally acceptable or proper, in my opinion, is voluntary cooperation. Everything (cont.)
1
...assure you, I can guarantee you that there is indeed a better way!!! And that way is voluntary cooperation. No violence. No coercion.
1
Also, have you read the book?
1
I'd love to see some proper consequences for immoral profit driven politicians, for such journalists too, of course.
1
This message was sponsored by the other TED, your local crack dealer.
1
Sweet! Thank you, sir.
1
Yayo, a social drug.
1
the trolls under the bridge?
1
Would you mind linking me to the other TED presentations of the same idea? That would be greatly appreciated.
1
...even though we would like to believe or think we understand quite a bit.
1
Before I die I want to speak and write fluently in seven different languages.
1
Ha, I didn't notice that. Clever response. Wanting to understand still packs a bigger punch, in my opinion, as most of us are okay already with not understanding, yet most of us don't really understand much at all.
1
The concept of self is something I've always been interested in, but more so as of recently, so thanks for sharing your blog. Can't wait to check it out :)
1
Cool, thanks!
1
It made a little sense, lol...
1
I get an error: 404 page not found...?
1
I mean, I get where she was going with it. :)
1
i NEED one of those.
1
build one...
1
At some points, it sounds like an Asian speaking English. Lol:)
1
INSAAANNE. I want one!
1
She's not sticking a gun to peoples' heads.
1
Control freaks, of course, but I also think they're possibly unintelligent, delusional, they themselves are sick, or a combination of these things. That's the problem, too, I think there's so many mentally sick individuals in the world today, that what's seemingly normal, isn't at all healthy or even natural.
1
Are you serious? Personally, I feel as if there's a number of doctors, psychiatrists, or what have you -- so-called "professionals" -- which are quite unintelligent and therefore unqualified or under-qualified to handout diagnoses to others in society.
1
I can understand your immediate frustration with the idea, as your point is absolutely valid. However, I was hoping to hear more specifically about the idea of monotasking. I'll have to do a search of my own, I guess. Thanks anyways, amigo.
1
So it seems :(
1
Her message IS quite naive; however, not only can girls promote naive ideas but women can too. What I was able to gather from her presentation was this: instead of us smartening up, scientists should dumb down -- totally naive, in my opinion.
1
Sosointeresting
1
Then countries go to war, and fall apart, then form new countries, and in turn the IMF does it all over again.
1
I'm afraid of my government, the state, and intelligence agencies, more so than so-called terrorists.
1
The world has only achieved and/or obtained what it has today at the cost of the mental health of its peoples.
1
He did have like only 5 minutes, so he might have left it out because of that...
1
pretty fucking amazing
