Actually, we face many of the same problems in the west, except that in the west corruption exists behind closed doors, in closets, and is swept under the rug.

I'm actually glad I watched this. This makes me want to go live in China. We pay no attention or give any notice to the blatant incompetence of western governance and therefore to any possibility of necessary reform; It's fucked up.

The problem is that too many people swallow the party line, like yourself, too many have drank the Kool-Aid. You said, "Democracy is generally defined as 'the best we've got'." This begs the question: Generally defined as "the best we've got" by WHO? Be an individual. Define "things" for yourself. It doesn't matter what form of governance you're subjected to. Whatever form of governance that may be is always regarded or passed off as the "best." Every single government spoon-feeds propaganda to its subjects, or the governed. I believe governance itself is corrupt or, in its most literal sense, morally degenerate and perverted or characterized by improper conduct. The only type of organization that's morally acceptable or proper, in my opinion, is voluntary cooperation. Everything (cont.)
