I use the Oxford comma in pthingarticular contexts like listing 3 or greater things . You don't need a comma when you're only listing 2 things because the conjunction and indicates the distinctiveness of each thing. Likewise, sometimes context warrants the Oxford comma for the sake of clarity. If one were to list amounts, for instance. 'Two, one , three and a half, and three' is a lot clearer than 'Two, one, three and a half and three. Nonetheless, false dilemmas are for retards.
