  2.  @waltneitzel4950  I'm sure you can tell a narrative that is convoluted and sticky on boat travel, but it's still better than air travel. I don't need a passport to at least board my boat in harbor, I don't need to check in luggage, and I don't need to be vaccinated to board my boat. Once you accomplish the hoops to get into international waters, you do have choices assuming your vessel is ocean worthy and you have the skills. At least you're not stuck in your country because you can't board a plane. Not having a boat and having a boat are a limited and less limited situations, respectively. Just like having a plane or not, or having a vehicle or not. I can sleep in a boat and a vehicle. I have a friend who can get me out of Florida if Florida turns into Dunkirk.
