  23.  @mjensenismeismjensen5587  Let me try again. The Caribbean is really popular with Europeans and European elites whether the country is independent or not. So the elites in EU, who some write the laws, have a like for the Caribbean, and this is why the CBIs have had some level of support these past decades. Some Bureaucrats have been taking advantage of the CBIs for themselves too. Many in the EU though don't like these for example the Russians lately taking advantage of the St. Kitts program so much, or they just don't want to associate with the "rabble" and want the CBI prices raised. Elites want people under control and not provided with freedom of movement.
