  1. Uddhav Thackeray was correct. Shiv Sena was created by Bal Thackeray to fight against Gujaratis and South Indians marginalizing Marathis in Mumbai. Whereas, Hindutva is predominantly a Marwari Gujarati ideology to create one nation and more importantly one economy out of entire Indian subcontinent on the basis of a religion. Ironically, earliest proponent of Hindutva is Congress under M.K.Gandhi which led to the partition of India. Therefore, Hindutva is in direct conflict with the Marathi Manoos ideology of Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena and BJP partnership could continue in Vajpayee's BJP. But, in Modi Shah's Gujarati dominated BJP there is bound to be conflict not only Shiv Sena but also Marathi dominated RSS. This is the reason why Gadkari and Modi Shah although in same political party are in different camps. BJP has bought off Shiv Sena with their money power. This will only rekindle the flames of Marathi Manoos which has been lying dormant for quite a while now.
