  1. Meitei are Tai Chinese, Kuki are Burmese. Manipur, Kamrupa aka undivided Assam, Tripura were Bengali kingdoms invaded and occupied first by the Tai Chinese followed by the Burmese. NE was liberated from Burma and returned to India by East India Company in 1832 but with majority Chinese and Burmese origin people who have never accepted themselves as Indians and have been taking help from China and Burma to separate from India right after the communists came to power in China. If the government in New Delhi surreptitiously hides the history of north east and illegally declares Chinese and Burmese origin people as Indian SC, ST, OBC then it is begging for trouble. SC, ST, OBC status has to be taken away from Chinese and Burmese origin people in NE which is the root cause for the current turmoil in Manipur.
