There will never be any peace in NE because it was for 600 years under Chinese and Burmese occupation prior to 1832 when East India Company liberated North East from Burma and returned to India but with majority Chinese and Burmese origin people who have never accepted themselves as Indians to this day. NE used to be a collection of Bengali kingdoms which were first invaded and occupied by Tai people from China followed by Burmese invasion from 1400 CE and eventual occupation till 1832 CE. This is the crux of never ending unrests and insurgencies in NE aided and supported both by China and Burma right from 1947. This part of Indian history is completely missing from our history books.

You are people of Burmese origin and not natives of Tripura. You want separate land then go back to Burma from where your ancestors came.

@aakashboom Kamrupa was a Bengali kingdom. There was no Bengal prior to arrival of the Afghans and Turks. The land which was occupied by the Afghans and Turks became Bengal a Persian name for the eastern most part of Mughal Empire. The land which went under Chinese and Burmese occupation became the undivided Assam.

@hritizgogoi3739 Ahoms Dimasa Koch Sutia look like Indians to you? Ahoms themselves claim they are Tai people from China who settled in India in 1200 CE. The Dimasa, chutiya, Koch are Burmese settlers as they have origin in India predating only few centuries back which is when NE was under Burmese occupation. If there was no Hindustan and Punjab prior to Mughal occupation of the subcontinent you mean to say there were no Punjabis a Persian identity given to people living in the land of the 5 rivers and Hindustanis another Persian identity given to people living at the east of Sindhu river? Just because the Afghans and Mughals called the eastern most part as Bengal does it mean these places were not inhabited by people we call Bengalis a Persian name?

@rankinechacha2343 Yes Chinese , Burmese and now Nepalis have a wet dream of conquering and separating NE and North Bengal from India. This is evident in the various separatist movements in NE and North Bengal aided abetted by China, Burma and Nepal. Islam is an Indian religion ??

@bhadreswar786 Is your blood Indian or same as those of Chinese and Burmese?? The original language culture customs of NE is Bengali. Which you adopted after your ancestors settled in these lands. Look at the names you have mentioned, do they sound Indian names or Sino Burmese names?

@Zone07376 Bengalis were instrumental in kicking out the British from India. You can't name even one freedom fighter from your namak haram community. If you have balls tell me which community you belong to. 1947 we chased out the British. Now we Bengalis have to Chase namak harami Chinese and Burmese squatting in ancestral lands of Bengalis and taking help from China and Burma to break up India. No more Hindi Chini bhai bhai but Hindi Chini bye bye as it is clear you cannot live in India with Indians even after stealing Bengali language, culture, customs, religion and pretending to be "indigenous Indian tribals" while being Chinese and Burmese by blood.
