This government first wants to destroy all government institutions, then it is handing over the same to few select businessmen without any rationale or logic. The PSUs and government institutions are the biggest stumbling block to corporates who want complete monopoly over Indian economy.

@KVR8527 ISRO is one and you might not have heard of nav ratnas and maha Ratna PSUs. Do you know which telecom service provider gives the best service in remote regions?? It is BSNL. What do you watch in "private channels" that sarkari channels don't show?? Unless you are living in a village, what do people use to commute long distances in major cities?? How many Indians can afford treatment in private hospitals which are more butcher shops than medical institutions?? IIT, IIM, NITs are what?? Which private institutes are comparable to these?? Is it the job of government to sell toothpaste, cooking oil, wheat/rice?? It seems you haven't heard of NASA, WHO, DARPA, ESA few out of the many govt institutions.

@abhishekgonchowdhury7775 if that be the case, then why private sector is bankrupt to such extent that it has bankrupted entire financial system of the country?? If private companies need innovation and technology from PSUs like ISRO and DRDO for free and guaranteed orders from the government are they fit to be called private companies?? Which Indian company is comparable to SpaceX?? NASA did nothing. It is Elon Musk's money and passion which has created SpaceX. Much of the technology used in SpaceX vehicles are developed inhouse and not handouts from NASA.

Can you name even one product of these companies which enjoy at least brand equity in India let alone globally?? Close Dilli Durbar and Bombay club and then see where India goes.

Yo, SpaceX will cost two times less than ISRO after Adani Ambani sarkar has forced ISRO to outsource manufacturing of rockets to Adanis and Ambanis. Same has happened with HAL's Tejas where price of a 20+ million dollars fighter has jumped to 45 million dollars after Adani Ambani sarkar forced HAL to outsource complete manufacturing of Tejas to Adanis and Ambanis.

@KVR8527 what services do private sector provides to villagers?? Who will serve villagers in north east, Ladakh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands who cannot afford expensive air ticket but cannot be connected with mainland India in any other way?? Poverty in major cities like Mumbai and Delhi is worse than that in the villages.

How cost of same fighter goes from 20+ million dollars to 64 million dollars in just few years before settling at 45+ million dollars?? This is the price of Tejas without any weapons system. What addition in avionics has led to 2 to 3 times price escalation in 2 to 3 years?? @aosaeanor 50,000+ crores is the valuation of Air India which has debt + losses of 60,000+ crores. So, how Air India was sold for 18,000 crores and who is footing the 60,000+ crores of losses+debt of Air India??

@aosaeanor that debt is due to acquisition of fleet of 777ER, 787 and Modi's two 777ER each costing to the tune of 8,000 crores each i.e. 16,000 crores. Theft of public property will be heralded as "reforms" by Economic Times just like it used to cheer British loot and occupation of India as development of 3rd world natives. Financial experts will be in favour of return of East India Company as it lend it's name to what we call India today which is ironically Greek name of the land we call Pakistan. Please tell me how much is debt and how much is losses out of 60,000+ crores and how much of this is being absorbed by Tata out of the paltry 18,000 crores that it is paying for Air India??
