@SG Core ideology of Shiv Sena is Marathi nationalism, not Hindutva. By dabbling with Hindutva, Shiv Sena strayed away from its core ideology of Marathi Manoos. Eknath Shinde by focusing on Hindutva, becomes a junior partner of BJP. Uddhav Thackeray realized this, which is why he broke away from BJP.

@aditya Shiv in Shiv Sena stands for Shivaji's Sena and not Shiva the Lord's Sena. This is why the first targets of Shiv Sena were Hindu Gujaratis and South Indians. Later on, they also attacked Muslims and Hindi speaking migrants.

@aditya it doesn't matters whether Shivaji is celebrated in North India, for Shiv Sena, Shivaji is a Marathi nationalist icon who fought foreigners to defend the Marathis. Shiv Sena has been targeting both non Marathi Muslims and Hindus.
