  1. @SG 1971 would be well documented if the Indian military didn't burn all files related to 1971 war with the birth of Bangladesh. What you forget is, 1971 wasn't a 13 days war but a 9 months long extremely bloody Pakistani civil war where India entered only in the last 2 weeks when Pakistani forces in East Pakistan aka Bangladesh had run out of ammunition and were on the retreat on every front even before the Indian military officially entered the Pakistani civil war. India's entry acted as a facesaver for Pakistan army as the other alternative would be surrendering to the Mukti Bahini. 1971 involved USA and USSR as well which rarely gets covered.
